Pegasus Chassis

Don Ramsey built and drove the Pegasus chassis. He was from Indianapolis, Indiana, and raced D sports in the mid 60s to mid 70s.

"He went to the SCCA National Runoffs for several years in a row, and finished 3rd ... I think in the 1971 race," says his son Guy.

Ben Beasley remembers, from his childhood, that Don was "a great competitor and innovator, one of the builders of DSR as a class."

Don's cars were sold off around 1978, after he died of cancer at the young age 35.
