Although the car was not originally designed to be a
DSR, most if not all aspects of it fit the class. No one has pointed out
anything in the rules that would disallow it from running as a DSR. In
fact, when a new GT Lite goes through SCCA technical inspection, it is
"classified" as a DSR based on its engine and other
characteristics.
